Using the interactive map
With a scroll wheel mouse scrolling could not be simpler.
Move the mouse so the cursor is over the area you wish to zoom into.
• Turn the wheel forward to zoom in.
• Turn the wheel backward to zoom in.
To move around (Pan)
• Click on the Map,
• Hold the mouse down and drag the map
No wheel mouse or if your browser is having problems?
- •Double click on the title - this zooms into the selected category
- •Note double clicking on a book opens the book on Amazon.com
- •To go back hit the ‘esc’ (escape) key.
- •Use the plus and Minus keys to control zooming
Right Click ( Mac Users Command click) to get a Popup menu. With this menu you can
- • Open the category or book on Amazon.co.uk
- • Open the category or book on Amazon.com
- • Zoom to the selected item
- • Zoom out to see all books.
- • Zoom out to see the enclosing category.
- • Leave the current page and go to the help (this) page.
Is nothing showing up on the screen?
This generally means you don’t either have java on your browsers or the version is too old or you haven't enabled it (see your preferences for help).
Right click or Command click for menu.
Plus+ and Minus Keys also control zooming
‘esc’ key zooms out one category
Even when you can’t read a category you can still hold your mouse over and get a tool tip with the name.
