So finally after a long Easter slog we get back to work and a chance to rest. The really good news for the day was the new MacbookPro that turned up. This was the one that replaced the laptop which got trashed on the US trip. I was thinking of calling the machine Cypher - I do feel having a intel processor at the heart of a mac feels like treachery.

 

The mac took a few hours to transfer ‘my identity’ across. Then several more hours to down load all the software up dates.  I down loaded a new version of fireFox. Both Fox and Safari now have a nice writing bug ( Pictured above). The core code for Rainforest is nearly working. Need the latest version of JRE to make wheel mouse interface to work.
